El Paso, TX — January 19, 2024, a man was killed as the result of a semi-truck accident at around 11:45 a.m. along Gateway North Boulevard.
Investigators said in their statements that the crash took place at the intersection of Gateway North Boulevard and State Line Road near the Edge of Texas.
According to officials, a 22-year-old man was in a Hyundai Elantra which was going eastbound along State Line Road. While crossing the Gateway North intersection, police say that a northbound commercial truck crashed into the side of the Hyundai.
Due to this collision, the man driving the Hyundai sustained fatal injuries. The truck driver did not appear to have any injuries. Right now, additional details about the truck wreck cannot be confirmed pending investigations.
