Maverick County, TX — August 19, 2025, a man sustained injuries due to a semi-truck accident at around 1:14 a.m. along El Indio Highway.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place near South Veterans Boulevard in southeast Eagle Pass.
Investigators said that a 21-year-old man was on a Suzuki motorcycle traveling southeast on El Indio Highway. While doing so, the motorcycle somehow crashed with a Freightliner semi-truck.
Due to the accident, authorities reported the motorcyclist as having serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.

After any motorcycle accident, it’s important to ensure investigators are being fair and unbiased. The fact of the matter is a lot of people are biased against motorcyclists, and that can lead to inaccurate or incomplete investigations. Ensuring early on that there are investigators focusing on the facts rather than their own feelings can be crucial for victims and families affected by serious accidents. So while it’s possible authorities here are already doing a good job, it’s important to make certain of that before it’s too late to right the ship.
