Scott Mendek Injured in Car Accident in Brazoria County, TX

Brazoria County, TX — May 11, 2024, Scott Mendek was injured as the result of a single-vehicle car accident around 11:43 p.m. on County Road 505.

According to officials, the incident happened near County Road 946, south of Sweeny.

Investigators said that 53-year-old Scott Wayne Mendek was in a Toyota Tundra going northbound along CR-505. At a curve in the road, the vehicle somehow traveled off the roadway. It then crashed into a fence.

Due to the accident, Scott Mendek reportedly had serious injuries. Additional details are unavailable.
