Accident Report

September 24, 2026, twelve people were injured following a school bus accident at around 7:40 a.m. along Highway 105.

Preliminary information about the accident says that the crash took place near the intersection of Highway 105 and County Road 446, east of Navasota.

According to officials, a Navasota ISD school bus was carryting students westbound along the highway. While the bus was in traffic, a dually truck reportedly struck the bus from behind.

Authorities say that at least eleven students “complained of minor pain,” and some were taken from the scene for evaluation. The truck driver was also injured. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

How Did This Accident Occur?

Just to be clear up front, I don’t have any special inside information on what happened here.
