San Antonio, TX — January 27, 2026, four people were injured as the result of a school bus rollover accident around 8:15 a.m. along Loop 410 South.
Initial statements on the accident say that it occurred along the freeway in the area of Old Pearsall Road.
Investigators said that a school bus carrying around 30 students somehow lost control and overturned along Loop 410. Reports did not say if any other vehicles were involved. due to the accident, the bus driver and three students were taken to the hospital. The driver’s injuries were possibly more serious.

With a crash like this, it’s important that investigations are prompt and thorough and that they consider more than just what’s obvious at the scene. Anything from distraction to road hazards to vehicle defects could cause a bus to overturn. Some of those potential issues can suggest problems behind the scenes that need to be remedied. At the end of the day, parents deserve to know any wrongs are going to be put right, and they deserve to know there won’t be any future danger to their kids.
