A lot of school buses these days have cameras on them, so I wonder if authorities looked into that at all. That video evidence tends to be time-sensitive, so failing to take prompt action to secure it would be a big oversight. Despite what people might think, it’s not always basic procedure for authorities to look for this kind of evidence. If their efforts focused too much on clearing the crash scene and looking for charges to file, some of the more subtle details may have slipped through the cracks. Did that happen here?
