Maple Valley, WA — October 28, 2025, one person was reportedly injured as the result of a school bus accident involving a delivery truck.

It appears a Maple Valley Schools bus was going to pick up children from Fuller Street Elementary while there were around 30 students already on board. While doing so, reports say that a delivery truck pulled into the path of the bus. The vehicles then collided.

My hope is that these reports are accurate that no one was seriously injured. One of the challenges with children and adolescents being injured is the nature of injuries isn’t always immediately apparent. As they grow, problems can show themselves. That’s why it’s always a good idea to take any accident involving kids seriously and preserve as much evidence while it’s still intact. That way, even if it’s just out of an abundance of caution, that evidence will be available in the future. It should go without saying that it’s a lot better to have evidence and not need it than to not have it when it’s needed most.
