Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

As open-and-shut as this may seem, an important question remains unanswered: why did the bus pull in front of the truck? While it could just be a momentary lapse in judgment, we entrust school bus drivers with the safety of our kids. Clearly something went wrong here, and families deserve to know if it’s a sign of bigger problems behind the scenes. Not only is accountability important, but so is making sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen again. Are authorities taking those steps?
