Houston, TX — March 27, 2026, Scheaky Washington was killed and another pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 8:30 p.m. on West Little York Avenue.
Authorities said two pedestrians were crossing the road near the intersection with Andy Drive when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle.
One woman, 50-year-old Scheaky Washington, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities, while the other was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
