El Paso, TX — February 19, 2024, Sandra Morris and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly after 2:45 p.m. along U.S. 54.
According to authorities, a Ford Explorer was westbound on Edge of Texas in the Gateway North Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, after stopping at the stop sign, the Ford started forward, entering the intersection with the northbound lanes at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the back right side of the Ford and the front end of a northbound Cadillac occupied by 60-year-old Sandra Morris.
Morris incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. The 25-year-old man from the Ford also apparently sustained moderate injuries. Both victims were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
