Grand Prairie, TX — December 17, 2023, one person was killed in a truck accident shortly before 4:00 in the evening along Belt Line Road.
According to authorities, a man was traveling in a northbound SUV on Belt Line Road approaching the Hunter Ferrell Road intersection when the accident occurred.
The SUV—which was traveling at allegedly excessive speeds—neglected to stop for the indicated red light at the intersection for unknown reasons, resulting in a collision with an 18-wheeler which was making a turn from Hunter Ferrell onto Belt Line. The SUV driver incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash; he was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
