Harris County, TX — June 7, 2024, Sabrina Booth was fatally injured as the result of a car accident at around 2:00 a.m. along the North Freeway.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened along the northbound service road in the area of Spring Cypress Road.

According to officials, 41-year-old Sabrina Booth was on foot and walking northbound along the roadway. While doing so, a Toyota Rav4 struck Booth, then reportedly left the scene. Due to the collision, Booth sustained fatal injuries.

It’s not clear right now if authorities ever located the runaway driver, but details suggest they have identifying information for the vehicle. Hopefully that means they’ve been able to get some answers for the victim’s loved ones, including why the driver left the scene in the first place. It’s not really common for a driver to do that just due to panic over the accident itself. Usually, there’s something specific they wanted to hide, like drunk driving or warrants. At the end of the day, a victim’s family at least deserves some peace of mind that there is going to be accountability for the wrongs done to them.
