Accident Report

Bonneville County, ID — September 18, 2026, Rylee Baird was killed and another person was injured in a truck accident at about 2:15 p.m. west of Idaho Falls.

Authorities said a 2025 Kia K5 was heading east when it collided the trailer being towed by a 2019 Kenworth semi-truck, then crashed head-on with a westbound 2023 Ford F-150 near mile marker 298.

The Kia driver, 29-year-old Idaho Falls resident Rylee Baird, was pronounced dead the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

The Ford driver, a 22-year-old man from Severance, CO, was hospitalized with unspecified injuries, authorities said, while the truck driver was not hurt.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Bonneville County crash at this time.
