With single-vehicle accidents, it’s important to let the facts speak for themselves and avoid jumping to conclusions. The victim’s loved ones deserve to know investigators are doing more than just assuming the driver did something wrong.

Road hazards, tire blowouts, hit-and-runs, vehicle defects, medical emergencies—common or not, these can all lead to deadly accidents drivers have no control over. So either authorities will be able to show they’re including all of these possibilities in their investigations, or they’ll show that there are areas being overlooked which may require more thorough independent investigations.
