UPDATE (November 3, 2025): Authorities have confirmed that the motorcyclist, identified as 33-year-old Ruben Delgado, died as a result of the crash.
Riverside County, CA — October 28, 2025, one person was injured following a truck versus motorcycle at 1:55 p.m. along Dillon Road.
Authorities said that the accident happened near the intersection of Dillon Road and Prospect Road.
According to officials, a motorcycle and a trash truck were traveling through the area. Events are unclear, but authorities say the vehicles collided. As a result, the motorcyclist reportedly was seriously injured.

Commentary
After any serious crash involving a motorcycle, my concern is whether or not authorities are being thorough in their investigations. Frankly, a lot of people are biased against motorcyclists. This can lead to shallow or incomplete investigations if officers jump to conclusions instead of focusing on the facts. So if police are being thorough and letting the evidence speak for itself, that’s good. In my experience, though, it’s not something anyone should take for granted.
