Corpus Christi, TX — April 17, 2026, Royel Ruiz was injured in a motorcycle accident just after 2 a.m. in the 3200 block of Ocean Drive.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2026 Harley-Davidson RH975 motorcycle was heading north when it lost control and crashed into a tree near Hewit Drive.
Motorcyclist Royel Ruiz, 24, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
