Tarrant County, TX — May 16, 2024, Ronald Frank and one other person were injured in a car accident at approximately 12:30 p.m. along South Collins Street.
According to authorities, 68-year-old Ronald Frank was traveling in a northbound Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck attempting to turn left at the Abbott Avenue intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a southbound Subaru Impreza on Collins Street occupied by a 29-year-old man was traveling at allegedly high speeds as it approached the intersection. A collision followed between the front-left of the Subaru and the front-right side of the pickup. The collision caused both vehicles to overturn, each coming to a stop resting on their left sides.
Frank suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. The man from the Subaru sustained moderate injuries, as well, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
