Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I’m always concerned following motorcycle wrecks because, frankly, they’re not often given the attention they deserve. A lot of people are quick to just assume a motorcyclist involved in a crash like this must have been doing something wrong. But what about tire blowouts? Vehicle defects? Road hazards? Medical emergencies? At the end of the day, the evidence should speak for itself, not baseless assumptions. It’s just that folks don’t always expect authorities to be the ones jump to conclusions, yet I’ve seen many examples throughout my career of that exact problem. Hopefully that isn’t what happened here.
