Bexar County, TX — May 17, 2024, one person was injured following a single-car rollover accident shortly after 10:30 p.m. along U.S. Highway 90.
According to authorities, a Ford Fusion was traveling on U.S. Highway 90 in the vicinity of Military Drive West when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Fusion failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the roadway and collided with a guardrail before also running into a concrete median. This caused the Ford to overturn, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop.
The victim who had been behind the wheel of the Ford was reportedly hurt, though the severity of those injuries have not been reported on, though their condition was described as “stable”. They were transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
