McLennan County, TX — January 8, 2024, Roger Lynn Hoelscher was killed as the result of a car accident at around 7:35 a.m. on South Robinson Drive.
According to initial statements released by authorities, the crash happened off the corner of South Robinson Drive and Lux Drive.
It appears that 54-year-old Roger Hoelscher was in a Nissan Murano which was going southbound on Robinson. From the northbound lane, it appears a GMC Sierra driven by a 16-year-old lost control, veered left of center, and crashed with Hoelscher’s vehicle.
Due to the collision, Hoelscher sustained fatal injuries. The other driver and their passenger had possibly minor injuries. Currently, particular factors contributing to the crash are unconfirmed. No further information is available right now.
