With recent reports saying that an alleged intoxicated driver is facing charges for this accident, that brings up other serious questions. For example, if alcohol was the intoxicant here, where did the alcohol come from? It’s possible more than one party needs to be held accountable here if an alleged drunk driver was over-served by a local establishment. Not only would that be important for the victims and families affected here, but it might be that there’s an alcohol provider continuing to put the community at risk. The sooner steps are taken to address that possibility, the better.
