Cherokee County, TX — January 16, 2024, Ritchie Way was injured as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 1:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 175.

According to officials, the crash took place near the intersection of U.S. 175 and County Road 3318.

Ritchie Way Injured in Car Accident in Cherokee County, TX

Officials said that 66-year-old Ritchie Way was in a Toyota Camry going eastbound along the highway. Roadway conditions were apparently icy at the time when the Toyota lost control and ran off the side of the road. There, the vehicle crashed along the tree line and overturned.

Due to the crash, Way had reportedly serious injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, additional details are unavailable.
