Jim Wells County, TX — February 4, 2024, Richard Molina Jr. was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident at 12:30 p.m. along Old San Diego Highway.
According to authorities, a Saturn was traveling eastbound on Old San Diego Highway approaching the Gulf Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Saturn attempted a left turn across the westbound lanes of the highway at an unsafe time. This poorly timed maneuver resulted in a collision between the back right side of the Saturn and the front end of a westbound motorcycle occupied by 38-year-old Richard Molina Jr.
Molina reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
