Dallas, TX — July 13, 2024, Richard Malone was killed and two were injured after a car versus pedestrian accident at 1:00 a.m. on I-35E.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place along northbound lanes of the Stemmons Freeway near Wycliff Avenue.
Investigators said that 65-year-old Richard Bruce Malone was a pedestrian in the area of northbound lanes of the interstate. While there, it appears a Ford Mustang struck Malone. Malone was killed as a result.
Two people in the Mustang had injuries described as non-serious. Right now, additional details surrounding the cause of the accident are unavailable.

I always talk about the importance of investigating fatal accidents seriously. Pedestrian accidents are no exception. There’s no telling when unusual circumstances could lead to something like this, which is why it’s important to find out if authorities took the investigations seriously. Did they take the time to uncover as much evidence as possible, or did they move on without ensuring the victim’s loved ones had the answers they needed?
