UPDATE (February 2, 2024): The identity of the pedestrian who lost his life as a result of this accident has been identified as 38-year-old Raymond Martinez.
Houston, TX — January 30, 2024, a man was killed in a pedestrian versus car hit-and-run accident shortly after 11:00 p.m. along Parker Road.
According to authorities, a 38-year-old man was attempting to cross Parker Road on foot in the vicinity east of the Bauman Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the man was struck by a passing vehicle of unknown make and model. The vehicle reportedly failed to stop and render aid of any kind to the victim, fleeing the scene without calling 9-1-1. The victim incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.
