Houston, TX — July 20, 2024, one man was killed following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at approximately 7:30 p.m. along Blalock Road.
According to authorities, a 29-year-old man was traveling on a northbound Yamaha motorcycle on Blalock Road in the vicinity between Willow Springs Lane and Derrik Drive when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the motorcycle failed to maintain control, veering left and crashing into the center median’s curb, coming to a stop resting in the grassy median after crashing into a fire hydrant and a tree. The man suffered reportedly fatal injuries due to the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time.
