March 30, 2026, Ramon Elizondo Sanchez was killed as the result of a work accident at a Trinity Industries facility.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened at a facility along 708 Jordan Valley Road, just west of Longview.

According to officials, 67-year-old Ramon Elizondo Sanchez was working at the time when an unspecified fire incident occurred. Ramon Elizondo Sanchez reportedly had serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. Ramon Elizondo Sanchez later succumbed to his injuries.

Right now, the cause of the accident remains unclear. An OSHA investigations appears to be ongoing.
