Houston, TX — May 10, 2026, Quentin Black was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 2:45 a.m. on State Highway 6.
Authorities said a southbound Land Rover Range Rover Sport hit a pedestrian near the intersection with Parkhollow Drive and continued driving.
The pedestrian, 35-year-old Kentucky resident Quentin Charles Black, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to authorities.
The Land Rover driver was charged with failing to stop and render aid after authorities located the heavily damaged SUV, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time.
