Accident Report

Houston, TX — August 27, 2026, Preston Stark was killed in a single vehicle accident at about 12:20 a.m. on Interstate Loop 610 North.

Authorities said a four-door Lexus sedan was heading north when it lost control and crashed into a barricade near the exit for North McCarty Street/U.S. Highway 90 Alternate.

The driver, 21-year-old Houston resident Preston Stark, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
