How Did This Accident Occur?
At this point, we don’t know why this pickup left the road. Was the driver distracted or fatigued? Did he swerve to avoid another vehicle or an object in the road? Did the Ford have an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism? These are the kind of questions that authorities must consider as they investigate this crash.
Investigators will pore over vehicle data, physical evidence, witness statements and any available video footage as they work to reconstruct this accident. Cell phone records could show if the driver was texting or interacting with an app at the time, but an in-depth inspection of the pickup will be needed if authorities suspect a mechanical problem contributed to the crash.
