Sacramento County, CA — July 5, 2024, a woman was killed following a pedestrian versus truck accident that took place along Fulton Avenue.
According to authorities, a woman was on foot attempting to cross Fulton Avenue at a crosswalk at the Alta Arden Expressway intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler on Alta Arden attempted a right turn onto Fulton Avenue and struck the woman as she was crossing. It is unknown at this time whether the truck or the woman had the right of way at the time of the accident. The woman incurred reportedly fatal injuries due to the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
