Round Rock, TX — November 20, 2023, a pedestrian was injured in a pedestrian trash truck accident just before 3:45 in the afternoon along Sea Ash Circle.
According to reports, a trash truck was traveling northbound on Sea Ash Circle at the intersection of Brightwater Boulevard when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, a 40-year-old woman who had been running westbound on the sidewalk on the north side of Brightwater Boulevard did not yield to the truck, stepping off of the sidewalk and into the crosswalk in front of the trash truck. The truck hit the woman as a result, causing her to incur severe injures; she was transported to a local hospital in order to receive necessary medical treatment.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions were reportedly clear and dry. Additional details—including the identities of those involved—are unavailable at this point in time.
