Texas City, TX — February 2, 2026, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 12:40 a.m. in the 100 block of South 34th Street.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a northbound Cadillac was heading north when it hit a pedestrian near the intersection with 1st Avenue South and continued driving.

The pedestrian, a 28-year-old man, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. His name has not been made public yet.
