Accident Report

July 5, 2026, a woman was injured due to a pedestrian versus hit-and-run car accident just after 10:45 p.m. along Washington Avenue.

According to authorities, a 27-year-old woman was on foot at the Washington Avenue and Reinerman Street intersection when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the woman was struck by an eastbound BMW of unknown model. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the man inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.

How Did This Accident Occur?

It’s possible that the collision could have been avoided had the driver been sober.

Thankfully, modern investigative techniques are more effective than some people might think. Hopefully the investigators are thorough and meticulous enough to track down the hit-and-run BMW and the man who had been behind the wheel at the time. That, after all, is what will give the people affected by this accident the answers they deserve.
