June 26, 2026, a man was injured in a pedestrian versus hit-and-run car accident at about 9:45 p.m. along Westheimer Road.

According to authorities, a 25-year-old man was on foot at the Westheimer Road and Crescent Park Drive intersection when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the man was struck by a westbound vehicle of unknown make or model. The unknown vehicle apparently fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
