Harris County, TX — June 17, 2024, a pedestrian was killed as the result of a hit-and-run accident around 11:47 p.m. along Highway 6.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of Sienna Parkway.
Investigators said that a pedestrian was on foot at the time in the area of the highway. While crossing the roadway, a vehicle struck the pedestrian. The vehicle then reportedly fled the scene. The pedestrian ultimately succumbed to his injuries following transport to Texas Children’s Hospital.

I haven’t seen any updates on this situation, and I can only hope authorities were able to find the driver involved in this. If they haven’t, they still might be able to put out information to the public so the community can help connect the dots. I’ve seen cases go cold for months and still see closure because someone in the public came forward with new information. The same could happen here, if it hasn’t already.
