Houston, TX — June 28, 2025, a pedestrian was injured due to a reported hit-and-run accident around 11:32 p.m. along Trout Street.

According to officials, the incident took place off the corner of the Trout Street and Dodson Street intersection.

Investigators reported that a 26-year-old woman was on foot at the time while a white pickup was going eastbound on Trout. The vehicle reportedly struck the woman, then left the accident scene. The woman was seriously injured in the accident. It’s unclear if authorities ever located the runaway vehicle.

If authorities still haven’t located the runaway driver here, it might help if they put out more information to the public. A lot of the times when hit-and-runs are resolved, it’s because someone in the community is able to connect dots authorities couldn’t. There may be a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or even a family member who may come forward. That can help ensure there’s finally some accountability for what happened here.
