Houston, TX — October 17, 2025, one person was injured due to a hit-and-run accident at around 5:00 a.m. along Kelley Street.
Authorities said in initial statements that the accident happened off Lockwood Drive at Pickfair Street.
According to officials, a 24-year-old man was on foot at the time. A vehicle was traveling eastbound when it struck the man. That vehicle then fled the scene.
Due to the accident, the pedestrian was seriously injured. Authorities did not offer a vehicle or suspect description.

If authorities have any more details about the suspect or the vehicle involved here, it would be prudent to release that information publicly. The public is one of the best tools authorities have for finding hit-and-run drivers, as someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward with a name or other key evidence. Even weeks or months after an accident, steps can be taken to keep up the pressure until there’s finally a resolution. Hopefully continued efforts yield results here.
