Harris County, TX — April 10, 2024, a woman was injured following a hit-and-run accident around 12:15 a.m. along Allen Genoa Road.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of Allen Genoa Road and Keith Avenue.
Investigators said that a 50-year-old woman was on foot at the time in the area of northbound lanes of Allen Genoa Road. While there, authorities say a van struck the woman, then left the scene. Due to the collision, the woman had serious injuries.

With hit-and-runs, there are two things to keep in mind. One is that the more information there is available to the public, the more likely it is the driver will be found. Someone in the community may be able to connect dots authorities can’t, so getting that information out and visible is always a prudent step. Two, it’s important to find out why a driver fled the scene. There’s often something independent of the accident itself they didn’t want authorities to know about, and it’s important that gets attention, as well.
