Accident Report

August 7, 2026, a pedestrian was injured following a firetruck accident that happened around 12:32 p.m. along Baldwin Street.

According to initial details about the accident, it took place at the intersection of Baldwin Street and 28th Avenue.

It appears that a 25-year-old man was on foot at the time and crossing the intersection in a marked crosswalk. While doing so, reports say that a Georgetown Township Fire Department truck hit the pedestrian. As a result, the man in the crosswalk sustained unspecified injuries.

Reports did not say if the firetruck was responding to a call or had its emergency lights and siren on. Investigations are ongoing.
