Bell County, TX — October 8, 2024, a man was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident just before 12:30 a.m. on the S.H. 36, H.K. Dodgen Loop, service road.
According to authorities, a 19-year-old man was on foot walking along the northbound service road for H.K. Dodgen Loop in the vicinity north of the 61st Street intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the man was struck by a northbound Honda CR-V. The pedestrian suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the collision; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
