Bexar County, TX — October 3, 2024, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at about 9:45 p.m. along Historic Old Highway 90.
According to authorities, a 58-year-old was crossing the highway from south to north in the vicinity southwest of the Arvil Avenue intersection when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle traveling southwest on the highway. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries due to the collision, according to reports. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
