June 23, 2026, one person was injured after a car versus pedestrian accident at around 1:49 a.m. along Morton Ranch Road.
Investigators said that the accident took place at the intersection of Morton Ranch Road and Willamette Drive in Katy.
It appears that a 19-year-old was on foot along Morton Ranch at the time. A Nissan Sentra was going westbound when it struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian reportedly sustained serious injuries.
