UPDATE (January 8, 2024): Recent reports have been published in the news which shed a little more light on what occurred during this accident. Officials indicate that two brothers—one age 15 and the other age 22—were allegedly walking from their home on the way to a convenience store. The 22-year-old reportedly saw the Dodge Charger, but was unable to stop his little brother in time. The 15-year-old was reportedly struck by the Charger, incurring fatal injuries. He was declared deceased at the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Laredo, TX — January 3, 2024, a pedestrian was killed in a car accident at approximately 7:55 p.m. along Cuatro Vientos Road.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity where Cuatro Vientos Road and Aguanieve Drive intersect.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear; however, it has been confirmed that it took place between a vehicle and a male pedestrian. The pedestrian reportedly incurred critical injuries as a result of the accident; he was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate care. However, he later succumbed to his injuries, having later been declared deceased at the hospital.
