Officials indicate that two brothers—one age 15 and the other age 22—were allegedly walking from their home on the way to a convenience store. The 22-year-old reportedly saw the Dodge Charger, but was unable to stop his little brother in time. The 15-year-old was reportedly struck by the Charger, incurring fatal injuries. He was declared deceased at the hospital. No other injuries were reported.

According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity where Cuatro Vientos Road and Aguanieve Drive intersect.
