How Did This Accident Occur?

It’s possible that all of this comes down to someone being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Obviously, a freeway is a pretty dangerous place for a pedestrian. But before jumping to conclusions, it’s always important to know the whole story. For example, there would be a big difference between someone trying to cut across a major roadway versus someone experiencing some kind of medical emergency that left them unaware of their surroundings. That’s why I always caution people against making hasty assumptions, even if those assumptions often turn out to be correct. There’s no telling when a proper, thorough investigation might reveal unusual circumstances.
