Collin County, TX — February 15, 2024, a woman was injured in a pedestrian car accident at approximately 6:30 p.m. along Preston Road.
According to authorities, a 28-year-old woman was legally crossing Preston Road on foot at the Hutson Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a westbound Nissan Rogue attempted a left turn onto southbound Preston Road with a flashing yellow arrow at an unsafe time. As a result, the pedestrian was reportedly struck by the Rogue whilst walking in the crosswalk. The pedestrian incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
