El Paso, TX — February 3, 2024 one person was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident just before 9:45 a.m. along North Loop Drive.
According to authorities, a 57-year-old woman was on foot in the crosswalk crossing North Loop Drive at the Yarbrough Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a Chevrolet Trax owned by Roberto Ceniceros that was northbound on Yarbrough attempted a right turn onto eastbound North Loop drive, failing to yield right of way to the pedestrian traffic in the crosswalk. This resulted in a collision between the pedestrian and the Chevy. The woman incurred reportedly severe injuries as a result of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment.
