Denton, TX — February 12, 2024, a woman was killed and one other person was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident at around 6:40 p.m. along I.H. 35.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I.H. 35 in the vicinity of University Drive.
Officials indicate that multiple 911 calls were made in connection with a woman who was allegedly on foot in the center southbound lane of the interstate. A box truck reportedly struck the woman, causing her to incur fatal injuries as a result. The driver of the box truck also apparently sustained injuries of unknown severity.
