Dallas, TX — February 3, 2024, a child was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident shortly before 5:00 p.m. along Blue Bayou Drive.
According to authorities, a Honda CR-V was traveling northbound on Blue Bayou Drive in the vicinity north of the Upcreek Drive intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that a 5-year-old boy attempted to cross Blue Bayou from west to east, running out from between two parked cars at an unsafe time. As a result, the boy was struck by the Honda. He incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment.
