Fort Worth, TX — October 1, 2025, one person was injured as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 9:03 p.m. along Sycamore School Road.
Investigators said that the accident happened just off the intersection of Sycamore School Road and McCart Avenue.
According to officials, a 28-year-old woman was on foot at the time walking in the area of Sycamore School Road. A vehicle going southbound reportedly struck the woman. This resulted in the pedestrian suffering serious injuries.
Right now, potential charges or citations are unclear. Investigations are ongoing.

When it comes to pedestrian accidents, my main concern is if authorities have been thorough. These incidents sometimes get brushed aside as low priorities, so it’s sometimes up to more thorough independent investigations to step in and make sure all the facts are clear. Whether this accident got the attention it needed remains to be seen.
